Horizon® business system users can now trade electronically and access full catalogue data

ECi Software Solutions Ltd (www.ECi.eu) today announced that it has completed a series of opXML links for DMC Business Machines Plc, giving users of the Horizon business management system a further choice of trading partners.
This latest integration with DMC allows dealers to expand their product offerings to suit their changing needs. By utilising opXML for stock enquiries, purchase orders, purchase order acknowledgments, invoices and credits, dealers can further streamline their order processing routines and take additional costs out of their business.
As well as the new opXML electronic trading element, all ECi customers already have access to DMC’s catalogue data, all fully cross-referenced, so they can be confident they are always quoting their customers from the latest price files.

£10,000 raised for charity

We are proud to announce that we have raised over £10,000 for Starlight

In March 2016, the business’ own remanufactured toner brand, planitgreen celebrated its 4th year of business by setting a target to raise £10,000 for Starlight. DMC hit its first and second quarterly micro targets of £2,500 and £5,000 each with a month to spare and by October had already raised £7,000 for the charity.

Thanks to an incredible 3rd Quarter full of fundraising events, donations and great sales figures, the DMC team were able to raise the necessary £3,000 to hit the total target of £10k before Christmas. This achievement was seen as the ‘perfect way to end 2016’ and leaves the business with 3 months to exceed the target by as much as possible. Since planitgreen launched in 2013, the brand has raised an unbelievable £33,000 for Starlight Children’s Foundation. This amount has granted numerous once-in-a-lifetime wishes and since March; 20 Distraction Boxes, 167 places at Starlight Parties and 400 tickets to Christmas Pantomimes.

We have now been working towards our £10,000 target for nine months, the 3rd Quarter mark in our year-long initiative. I am extremely proud to announce that together with our customers, corporate partners, staff, friends and family, the planitgreen fund-raisers have now exceeded our target.

Through numerous sporting events, our on-the-box donations and a whole range of other activities since March, we have now raised £11,500 for Starlight Children’s Foundation. With this said, we do not want to lose momentum and we will be looking to continue our fundraising with an aim of beating our £10,000 target by as much as we can. We would like to express our sincerest thanks and gratitude to all that have participated, donated and supported our initiative so far and would encourage anyone who wishes to be involved to get in touch with our team. Thank you once again and congratulations to all involved.
